I get to spend wedding days surrounded by people at their most emotional, hilarious and completely themselves — and somehow I get to call that work.
MY PHILOSOPHY
The people
are the point.
I love beautiful images, but what stays with me are the people — the dad trying not to cry, the friends losing it during a toast, the couples laughing when no one is directing them, and the grandparents out on the dance floor. Real moments, real people, real stories. That’s what I’m always looking for.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Charleston-based.
Husband. Dad.
Filmmaker.
My path into filmmaking was completely accidental.
I had no background in video when I picked up my wife’s Canon Elph one day and started making little films of our dogs. I immediately fell in love with the process and kept making more.
Then, in the summer of 2011, a coworker asked me to film her wedding. I said yes — and that one decision changed everything.
What started by accident became a career I’m incredibly grateful for. More than a decade later, I’m still drawn to the same thing that hooked me in the beginning: the ability to preserve a feeling, tell a story, and make something that becomes more meaningful with time.
My approach to wedding filmmaking is simple: every film should feel like the people in it. The personality, the relationships, the humor, the emotion — all of it should belong to that couple, not to a formula.
